I saw that your refill containers are made of aluminum and wanted to check if there is a liner between the product and the aluminum, or if they come into direct contact?

YES, there is a lining!  Of course!  

All of our aluminum refill containers have a lining. All aluminum packaging for cosmetics and food has a lining. Nobody making either cosmetics or food would put a product directly into unlined aluminum, and no legitimate company that makes aluminum packaging would sell them unlined aluminum packaging in the first place. The lining might not always be obvious, but it's there.

We use aluminum whenever possible for our refill packaging because it is lightweight (to reduce shipping costs and carbon usage) and infinitely recyclable.
