I've been using CREAMPOP to break the icky shampoo/conditioner cycle (and loving it), but now you make shampoo and conditioner too. How do you advise comparing the two, and which should I be using? Any advice appreciated.

Super great question, thanks for reaching out.

Mostly we tell users that if they are happy with CREAMPOP, don't change a thing.

That said, you can totally work our Astral Amino Shampoo into your CREAMPOP cleansing routine in a couple situations.

First off, if you use any silicones or industrial quats* in any other products that you use, a shampoo like ASTRAL AMINO SHAMPOO will remove them and a co-wash like CREAMPOP will not. So a shampoo every two weeks will keep the build up away.

Another really cool thing about our ASTRAL AMINO SHAMPOO is it’s not only moisturizing for your hair, it works as a fantastic face and body wash in the shower. It’s super fatted and has amino acids in it making your skin very soft.  We love making multi-use products that save the world from more SKUs.

Some CREAMPOP users like follow up with ASTRAL AMINO CONDITIONER after using CREAMPOP.  Why not?  While CREAMPOP is the most moisturing choice, it's like putting on a light lotion AFTER a heavier one.

Lastly if you need just a little more cleaning power for your scalp and our scalp brush + CREAMPOP isn’t quite doing it. Use our shampoo with the scrub brush for extra exfoliation.

*How to know if you have silicones and industrial quats in your products:  On the label silicones are easy to spot, always have “cone” in the name. Quats are a little trickier but most have the word “onium”. These are pretty standard ingredients in other lines, even “green” ones and they build up on hair.  You will not find silicones and industrial quats in CULT+KING products.
