Because CULT+KING’s product and ingredient philosophy is essentially pre-chemical, pre-modern — meaning that we reject the new toxic man-made chemical creations — much of our design inspirations go back to ancient symbols and icons. There is a lot of geometry in all of our designs. The pyramid graphic borrows from ancient Egyptian civilization, signifying strength and duration, the ability to withstand the ages… like the Great Pyramids have. The ideas behind our products have some of that ancient strength and durability, because we are using the same plants and natural elements that humans have shared the Earth with for millennia. We feel that some ancient ideas and ways of thinking are still relevant today.
