Will the wax in STYLE build up on my hair?

Though waxes can build up on hair when used by themselves, they become water-soluble when mixed with an emulsifier.
STYLE is about 6% waxes and includes an emulsifier making the waxes in STYLE water-soluble.
Wax is easily removed with surfactants (shampoo) or fatty alcohols (co-wash).
Out of all the guests at our Founder Jared's salon, he has never seen wax build-up on the scalp or hair when using STYLE. The wax is there to make a temporary botanical seal on the hair to protect it.
It's really the "quats" (quaternary ammonia compounds) and silicones in products that are the bigger build-up problem. (Neither of these ingredients is in STYLE or any of our products.).
